Firstly, apologies to those looking for actual Dried Arrangements! Guess I got in first with the domain name. There have been 546,408 visits to this Home Page. Perhaps I should be in the dried flower business?

Dried Arrangement is the studio band project of Phil Cole who hails from Wollongong formerly of Bathurst, New South Wales, Australia.

She's Like An Alien - Video

The goal is vibey, out of the box, eclectic, retro feel, progressive indie rock and pop. Hopefully with a quirky, unique and cool twist to both lyrics and melodies.

New music was tracked at CountyQ in Nashville in April 2025 and eight new songs are in the process of being mixed and mastered for release later this year. Thanks to Mark, Mike, Paul and Ace for jumping on board with my usual collaborators John Foster and Bob McGilpin and Brian Foraker.

In October 2015, a seven track EP "Guys Chasing Girls" was recorded at McMusic Sound Studio's in Nashville with creative support from John (vocalist / multi-instrumentalist with Nashville covers bands FAB, The Consoulers, The One Hitters and World Turning),  Bob (vocalist / instrumentalist / engineer / producer) and Brian (mastering engineer) at Autumnwood Mastering who has worked with .38 Special, Heart, Moby, Starship and Yes.

"Guys Chasing Girls" was a follow up to 2013's "The Hen House Project" and 2012's "Sunset EP" which were also recorded at McMusic Sound Studio's. "Tick Tock" was Phil's debut CD recorded in Bathurst in 2007 by Tim Roebuck.

Thanks more recently to professional mentors, Richard Helm and BMI Songwriter of the Year - Jon Ims (She's In Love With The Boy) and to Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) for their awesome workspace's.

Musical influences and inspirations include; Aerosmith, Avion, Bad English, Death Cab For Cutie, Def Leppard, Eric Johnson, Evanescence, Heart, Joe Bonamassa, John Mayer, Sarah McLachlan, Sheryl Crow, Thomas Dolby, Tom Petty, Trevor Rabin, Yes and ZZ Top.

Some suggest Dried Arrangement sounds a little like; A-Ha, Alan Parsons Project, John Lennon, Michael Franks, Neil Young, Radiohead, Travelling Wilburys, Whitlams and XTC.
