"Dried Arrangement" is the studio band project of Australian singer/songwriter, Phil Cole (Bathurst, New South Wales).
A late arrival on the singer/songwriter scene, Phil recorded a new seven track EP "Sunset" in Nashville in August 2012 with John Foster and Bob McGilpin. This is currently being followed up with "The Hen House Project" an 11 song CD that is again being recorded in Nashville with John and Bob at BMC Studios.
Now an experienced writer/artist with a unique twist to both lyrics and melodies, Phil writes interesting, vibey and compelling out of the box retro feel indie rock and pop which he mostly performs solo.
Producer, Bob says, "I don't think he has a real chord in anything he writes".
Phil's debut CD "Tick Tock" was well received and created opportunities for numerous trips to Nashville to play shows at several venues, while working with professional mentors, including the amazing team at Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI).
Phil's musical influences are varied and his inspirations include Aerosmith, Avion, Bad English, Def Leppard, Eric Johnson, Evanescence, Heart, John Mayer, Sarah McLachlan, Sheryl Crow, Sneak, Thomas Dolby, Tom Petty and ZZ Top, making his music and his performances more than interesting!
Phil has been told he sounds like; A-Ha, Alan Parsons Project, John Lennon, Michael Franks, Neil Young, Radiohead, Travelling Wilburys, Whitlams, v.Spy v. Spy and XTC.
