"Dried Arrangement" is the studio band project of Australian singer / songwriter, Phil Cole (Bathurst, New South Wales).
A late arrival on the singer / songwriter scene, Phil recorded a new 11 track CD "The Hen House Project" in May 2013 at McMusic Sound Studio's in Nashville with creative support from John Foster (vocalist / multi-instrumentalist) and Bob McGilpin (vocalist / instrumentalist / engineer / producer). "The Hen House Project" is a follow up to 2012's seven track "Sunset EP" which was also recorded at McMusic Sound Studio's and which was well received on Phil's local radio stations 1503 2BS Gold and 99.3 B-Rock FM with "Sunset", "Blip" and "She's Like An Alien" all receiving airplay.
Now an experienced writer / artist with a unique and cool twist to both lyrics and melodies, Phil writes interesting, quirky, vibey and compelling out of the box retro feel indie rock and pop.
Phil's debut CD "Tick Tock" was well received and created opportunities for numerous trips to Nashville to play shows at several venues, while working with professional mentors, Richard Helm and Jon Ims and the amazing team at Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI).
Phil's musical influences are varied and his inspirations include Aerosmith, Avion, Bad English, Def Leppard, Eric Johnson, Evanescence, Heart, Joe Bonamassa, John Mayer, Living Colour, Owl City, Sarah McLachlan, Sheryl Crow, Sneak, Thomas Dolby, Tom Petty, Trevor Rabin and ZZ Top, making his music and his performances more than interesting!
Phil has been told he sounds like; A-Ha, Alan Parsons Project, John Lennon, Michael Franks, Neil Young, Radiohead, Travelling Wilburys, Whitlams, v.Spy v. Spy and XTC.
